Dear Artist;
What would you do if you weren't afraid? I am an artist, and that question has battered me for quite some time. There is a lot of fear in Christians. Fear that others will find out our secret sins. Fears we aren't as perfect as we project. That fear is rampant, especially in artists. But have you ever asked yourself: "What would I do if I wasn't afraid?"
As an artist what does that mean? Would you paint with bolder strokes? Would you try a new riff instead of playing it safe? Would you write about the most painful memory that you have because it has no control over you anymore? Would you dance with abandon as the light of the Creator illuminated your expression of love?
It was for this reason that 6ft Studios was started. We want to see the answer to the question: "What would Christian art expression look like if we were not afraid?" And how would that change us as Christians?
