Becoming a 6ft Artist
Becoming a 6ft Artist is easy. We have two distinct levels of involvement. The first is a 6ft Associate Artist. These are artists: bands, writers, choreographers, dancers, film makers, etc., that embody the spirit of a 6ft Artist. These are artists that display in their art the passion to:
1. Dig Deep
2. Be Real
3. Live in Faith
These artists are displayed on our site and links and contact information are provided. For more information on what it means to be a 6ft Artist, check out the "What is a 6ft Artist" page.
The second level of involvement is as an actual 6ft Artist. These are artists that have gone through our mentorship program. This program can be done wherever you are and is a 6 month course that will challenge you spiritually and artistically. Specifically tailored to meet the goals that you want to achieve (like becoming a touring musician, or starting a dance troupe), this program will help you go to the next level artistically. So, how do I get involved?
The steps for both of these levels of involvement are the same:
- Send us a demo of your best work. If you have a dvd, you can send it to us with a cover letter at: 6ft Studios, 4370 Chicago Dr., Suite B-185, Grandville MI 49418 or send us an email with a cover letter and link to your demo reel. (Please do not email us video files - they clog up our server.)
- We will review it and either make you a 6ft Associate Artist, or recommend that you enroll in the mentorship program. If you enroll in the mentorship program, you will automatically become a 6ft Artist on completion of the program.
- Enjoy your status and the increased exposure that a 6ft Artist receives!
